222fbj Oct 29 2006, 07:48 PM I successfully created/burned a UBCD4WIN iso image. The source data was XP Pro SP2 (created with Slipstream option.) When I try to boot from the USB DVD (Sony DRU500) I can see it access the drive and it says booting from CD... But then nothing - no access / activity /boot. Before trying this I had just run memtext86...by creating a bootable CD. So the USB/DVD drive will boot. What else should I try? The DVD media I use is DVD+RW if that matters. I also wanted to copy/include some additional files during the creation process. I saw a referernce to Plugin/CAB files...but not to simple TXT or EXE files. UNless it is created a certain way I guyess simliar to the USB memroy stick directions the USB bus gets reset during the boot process. It will start off of the USB DVD Drive but when Windows starts loading it resets and then it loses its files.
