Simply by taking a look at the spectrasonics folder in the hidden "Program Data" folder and modifying the shortcut properties, I was able to fix the issue. The shortcut referred to an invalid directory. So by recreating the shortcut manually (right-click, create shortcut, pasting), I was able to resolve the issue. Thanks for the help.
