Widdcom Bluetooth Driver - legacyneed’s diary

On the 'Bluetooth network' lan connection as you would any other lan cardOn the PDA goto start/settings/connections (TAB)/connections/advanced (TAB)/network card - in the box labelled 'tap an adapter to modify settings' select Bluetooth PAN user driver' (if this is not here, your widcomm is not installed correctly) .This is where you put in the ip config for your BT network on the PDANow connect the BT network link again (Widcomm BT manager)You should be able to ping your PDA with it's BT ip from your desktop, if it works, your BT LAN is now working. ( you can also get some free ping software for the PDA too, to test the other direction do a search for vxutil)if the pings work ok, load up Resco and tell it to map a drive, hopefully the Desktop and it's shared disks should appear.Let me know how you go...
