I have been running transmission-daemon without problems for weeks since setting a new VPS running Ubuntu 24.04.1. Within the last 24 hours, I noticed the service was no longer responding. I run it as my user, not the user transmission. It fails to start when I reboot or restart the computer. I did change the message level to 3 as you suggested. The first time I rebooted after doing this the daemon failed to start but the log file was there but empty. When I started the daemon manually it printed a bunch of stuff in there but no errors..
