At the end of Ginger Island's Volcano Dungeon, players can find a mysterious forge. This isn't an ordinary forge, though — here, Stardew Valley players can apply magical enhancements to their tools and weapons. It will cost them valuable gemstones and crystals, but the trade-off is worth the price. Though it may seem complex at first, the Volcano Forge is surprisingly easy to use. Once players understand the effects that they can apply to their items, it unlocks a whole new world of possibilities. This guide will show players how to achieve each possible effect, and which choices will provide the most utility in their Stardew Valley playthrough. Updated January 6, 2025, by Demaris Oxman: Stardew Valley's 1.6 update brought tons of new changes to the game, from small quality-of-life changes to completely new elements like the Mastery system. Existing aspects of the game have also been expanded upon, and weapon forging is one of them. Players can now apply enchantments to the Pan in addition to their other tools, and can explore innate enchantments for weapons. This guide has been updated to include all the changes and additions regarding the Volcano Forge in Stardew Valley 1.6, ensuring players can keep fine-tuning tools and weapons to their liking. Obtaining Cinder Shards All the Volcano Forge's functions require Cinder Shards, which players can find throughout the Volcano Dungeon. In order to enchant and fully forge a tool or weapon, players will need at least 65 Cinder Shards per item, so they may need to spend some time farming these mysterious crystals. They can be found through the following methods:

Adds two new menus that show the schedules for NPCs. The main menu shows the previous, current, and next schedule entries for each NPC. It will also show an "!" icon next to a character's name if they have an active quest associated with them. If you hover over a schedule entry it shows which specific tile the NPC is on in that location, which direction they are facing, and which sprite animation will be playing. On click, a second menu opens showing the full schedule for that NPC as well as their current location and if they can receive a gift today.InstallInstall the latest version of SMAPI.Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.Run the game using SMAPI.Config OptionsShowSchedulesKey - the key to open the Schedule Viewer (default: V)UseAddress - use Pelican Town address instead of "Home of ..." for schedule entries i.e. "2 Willow Lane" instead of "Home of Emily & Haley" (default: true)DisableHover - don't show tile, facing direction, and animation info on hover (default: false)UseLargerFontForScheduleDetails - use a larger font size on the Schedule Details page (longer location names may get cut off if enabled)NPCSortOrder - the order the NPCs are sorted in the Schedule Viewer (default: AlphabeticalAscending)There are currently 3 filters that can be applied:OnlyShowMetNPCs - hides NPCs the farmer hasn't met yet (default: false)OnlyShowSocializableNPCs - hides NPCs you can't socialize with i.e. Gunther or Sandy before the bus is repaired (default: true)IgnoredNPCs - hides the listed NPCs.
