Found sound or setting up some new effects chains. It’s all about just constantly evolving my process and keeping it interesting for myself. But I always make sure that I start any session by doing some out of the box jamming. I feel like it’s more of a play state, so you end up in a freer headspace when you’re creating sound. Whereas when you’re looking at things in a box, that’s when the thoughts start creeping in, like, “Who’s gonna like this sound?”Yushh on the making of her track Same SameCould you talk a little bit about your relationship with Ableton? What drew you to the DAW and what do you like about it?I was with a friend of mine and they had a little Ableton pad controller and I was just messing around with it. I was like, “Oh, this is quite fun, actually.” And then I went to uni and they gave you a free copy of Ableton. Within a few months I was like, “Yeah, I’m gonna use Ableton.” I think it was Bats, fascinating creatures of the night, are known for their unique ability to navigate and communicate using echolocation. However, have you ever wondered if there’s a particular sound frequency that bats dislike or even hate? This article delves into the intriguing world of bat communication, exploring how certain frequencies affect them and whether these can be used to deter bats from specific areas. Bats do not universally hate a specific frequency. However, they tend to avoid continuous jamming tones in the range of 18-32 kHz and high-frequency sounds above 20 kHz that interfere with their echolocation system. It’s important to note that using such frequencies to deter bats may not be effective for all bat species and could potentially disrupt their behavior.Understanding Bat EcholocationBats emit high-frequency sound pulses and listen to the echoes that bounce back to navigate their environment and locate prey. Their audible frequency range can vary greatly, from 9 kHz to 200 kHz, depending on the species. However, their most sensitive range is narrower, approximately 15 kHz to 90 kHz. How Does Frequency Affect Bat Behavior? The frequency of sound plays a crucial role in bats’ behavior, particularly their echolocation abilities. Bats can adjust their echolocation calls in response to various factors, such as the presence of conspecifics (members of the same species), environmental conditions, and competition for prey. For example, bats flying in groups often produce calls with different frequencies and temporal patterns than those flying alone. This adaptation aids each individual in segregating echoes of its own sonar vocalizations from the acoustic signals of neighboring bats. Do Bats Dislike Certain Frequencies?Bats do not generally show aversion to specific sound frequencies. However, they may change their echolocation frequencies to avoid interference from continuous jamming tones in the range of 18-32 kHz. They have also been observed to exhibit aversive behavior when exposed to radio frequency (RF) radiation associated with radar installations. Using Frequencies to Deter BatsCertain high-frequency sounds (above 20 kHz) can be used to deter bats. Ultrasonic bat-repellent machines, for instance, emit such high-frequency sounds that are audible to bats but not humans. However, using such

As the subject says, I do not get any sound through any of my 2 monitors. The normal headphone jack works. In the Windows sound settings both monitor shows up and reported "Ready" to be used. No errors pop up, no "not plugged in" message, nothing. The solution I tried so far:- Run DISM command to try to fix any bugs/corruptions on windows side -> No effect- Delete and reinstall in device manager -> No effect- Completely reinstall AMD Software (Adrenaline edition) -> No effect- Use a 3rd party driver update detector and upgrade every outdated driver -> No effectSo while I do have sound through the traditional jack, it would be nice to have the ability to use one or both my monitors built in speakers to have some jamming/napping sessions to dark synths and lofi.If needed here is my PC's config:- Motherboard: B550 Aorus Elite V2- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT- Memory: 32GB DDR4. 62 royalty-free jam jam sound effects Download jam jam royalty-free sound effects to use in your next project.
