The Bullseye Target Manager is the iPhone/iPad application for the Bullseye Camera System. The application allows you to see your shots from up to 1 mile* away from the target via the wireless connection. The hardware system features an HD camera, 12+ hour lithium-ion rechargeable battery and is weatherproof. The system sets up in under 1 minute and is extremely easy to use.The app provides the ability to see the last shot blink, mark shots, color shots, review shots, save/load sessions, measure groups, overlay grids and play head-to-head target games!*Depending on device What’s New -Support for the new Bullseye Scope -Device connectivity improvements-User Interface improvements-Bug fixes Ratings and Reviews Does not work with Spot Shot I purchased the Spot Shot because the manufacturer said it was compatible with the most current Bullseye app. But it doesn’t pair with the Bullseye Target Manager. I called GSM/ SME, and customer service said, “Yeah, that’s a problem. We’re changing the webpage as we speak.” This app would be GREAT if it paired to GSM’s Spot Shot WiFi camera. Then I could use my spotting scope to help make real-time adjustments to my groupings! Miserable software I bought the Ammo Can LR about 2 1/2 years ago. It died and I called to see about support. No support available but they sold me a new Sniper Edition at 1/2 price. I got it a few days ago and tried to get it set up today. The camera works well and the picture is very good once I figured out how to get everything connected. The app is miserable to use. It’s not been updated for the newer systems they sell so there is no support there. The previous version 3, I think, is what I had before was much better to use than this one. I couldn’t care less about target games or social media, I’d much rather have the ability to save images to my iPad, delete the target markers and remark them when my finger is not quite right initially marking them and I certainly don’t need some voice telling me where and how much to move my reticle adjustments.I could go on but won’t. The app needs a lot of work to make it good. The new app must be by people trying to destroy this system This app update:Forces you to turn on locations for no reason than to steal private

Creating them, or maybe someone else will do it. But right now, you'll focus on the actions that you've decided require some sort of training. This is a big step, so I'm spreading it out over several chapters. What you'll do Here's what you'll do next: 1. 2. 3. 4. Brainstorm ideas for activities (this chapter) Identify the best format for each activity (the next chapter) Write a typical activity Create a prototype of it and have the client, SME, and learners give you feedback This chapter focuses on the first step, brainstorming ideas for activities, which are represented by the hand icon in the map below. Who's involved? You should be in charge of brainstorming activities and will probably do this on your own. An enthusiastic SME might help you brainstorm, but avoid letting a fan of fact checks participate, or they'll keep pulling you toward test-style activities. Your goal is to design practice activities, not knowledge checks. Since you're just working with high-level ideas now, you don't need lots of details from the SME. That comes later. However, if you can’t picture clearly what people do on the job, you might ask the SME for help at this step. Make clear you need help understanding the common challenges that people face, not what they need to know. Brainstorm and prototype first! In the common approach to training design, you'd now go off to write the "course," sending the content to the SME for correction. Instead, we're going create ideas of activities and determine their best format. Then we'll make prototypes of a few typical activities and test them. We won't actually write many activities until the client, SME, and future users have given their feedback on our prototypes. Ignore what the client wants, for now Your client might have assumed a certain type of training would work best, such as an online course or face-to-face workshop. For now, ignore what the client wants. In this chapter and the next, your job is to identify the best type of activity for the learners, not for the client. You’ll focus on what will help people most realistically practice what they need to practice, regardless of format and regardless of the client’s assumptions. Once you’ve identified the best type and format of activities for the learners, you’ll convince the client that those ideas will be more effective than, for example, the one-shot course the client is picturing. If you’re required to use a specific format and really, truly have zero power to argue against it (really? you can’t even make a suggestion?), you’ll at the very least look for ways to reconcile the best approach with the required approach. What's a

To do this in twos or even threes,” the SME says, giving you an idea for a useful distractor. Your SME might not think of these questions on their own, so don’t hesitate to ask them. Consider approaching additional SMEs Whether you use a story- or task-based approach, you might discover that your SME doesn't have experience in a specific task or area. Consider asking for help from people who have the necessary experience, rather than relying on generic information that your current SME might have. Also, some decisions are made by teams, not by lone experts. In that case, you'll want to interview a team that was involved in a specific incident, so you can understand the challenges faced at each point and gather the details necessary to translate them into meaningful activities. 6. Carefully ask what information is required to make the decision When you’re confident you have a good understanding of the task and decision, ask questions like the following. What's the minimum information people need to know to make this decision? What should they memorize, and what could they look up? Where is that information now? As we saw during the analysis, it's common for a SME to make two problematic assumptions: People need more information to make the decision than they really do. People should memorize more information than they really need to memorize. Here are four ways to help the SME avoid sinking into the quicksand of information. Save the information discussion for last The SME might want to first tell you everything people need to know. Instead, ask them to tell you a story or complete the task while thinking out loud, and only then ask about the necessary knowledge. This will help remind the SME that your goal is to help people to make good decisions, not just to get information into their heads. Remind the SME that this activity will be one of a series The SME might be concerned about the many basic concepts and other prerequisite knowledge that people should have before they can make the decision in your activity. Reassure the SME that this won’t be the only activity and that people will have plenty of opportunity to learn the basics through other activities. However, if you’re planning to make your prototype the first activity and the SME has a long list of what people legitimately need to know before they can make the decision, you might want to rethink your prototype. You’ll want to organize your activities so the earlier ones help people learn (or confirm their pre-existing knowledge of) basic concepts, one at a time, before you put them in situations that require them to apply.
