Shutdown avast

November 27, 2005, 1:40am 1 Here we can read a lot of posts about startup and login… speed and protection at that time.We learn that the firewall is more important at this time than the antivirus.We learn that some firewall, like Kerio, could protect actions at these times (startup and shutdown) at low level (see picture).We want avast! release the desktop to user as fast as it’s possible at login… avast! seems to be one of the ‘first’ services running but:At shutdown time, what happens?I see avast is one of the first of being shutdown, the red cross appears in the ‘a’ blue icon very quickly.Well, browser, P2P, email client… everything is opened and avast! has gone away?Can the programmers say anything about protection at shutdown? Avast will not let you shut down, before you remove the diskette. J.R. system February 3, 2012, 10:11pm 3 other than that you could try scripting a shutdown on the pc ,I have to say i used to do a lot of scripting in the old days of NT4 and server 2000 but i don’t know the scripting now on the new Windows 7 and server ect as im sure its changed with newer GP and ADbut if you do a bit of research on it you may be able to combine the command line scan of avastSome links below the auto shutdown of windows 7 (if you use xp then do some looking)Links below you manage to do it please post back with your results, im interested to see if someone could do it.
