Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. Can I still download a version of Itunes that works with OSX 10.3.9? I have an older G4Mac that does not have Itunes and can't download the current version of Itunes. 2025-04-08Some users felt regrettable, after they upgrade their iTunes from iTunes 12.6 to iTunes 12.7, which have removed the App Store, or sometimes the changes are incompatible with their particular workflow.So they want to know are there any methods to downgrade their iTunes 12.7 to iTunes 12.6 again.Yes, with a little effort, you can downgrade iTunes 12.7 back to iTunes 12.6 on either a Mac OS computer or Windows PC.Before downgrading iTunes 12.7 you should know that you can manage and download apps on iPhone or iPad without iTunes, directly in iOS as detailed here, including manually copying apps to the iPhone or iPad via IPA files.You should backup your computer before beginning this process. Failure to backup could result in permanent data loss or data removal. Do not skip backing up your computer before beginning.This process is basically three parts: deleting iTunes, restoring the old iTunes Library file, and then downloading the older version of iTunes and installing it. How to Downgrade iTunes 12.7 to 12.6 on WindowsDowngrading iTunes 12.7 can be done in Windows as well by uninstalling iTunes and then reinstalling the old version. You'll still want to restore the old iTunes Library .itl file however. 1. 2025-04-19It seems like it was just moments ago that iTunes 10 became available to download, but already there are some complaints about the new blue button icon. 6ix Passions points out that it looks awkward in their Dock and offers a simple solution; revert back to the old iTunes 9 icon. Here’s how to get the old iTunes icon back:Go into your Applications folder, select iTunes.Right click on the file and select Show Package Contents.Go under the Resources folder and make a copy of iTunes.icns on your desktop (for backup purposes).Replace it with the old iTunes.icns file from the previous iTunes version (9 and below).Start or restart iTunes.Now you’ll have the old iTunes 9 style icon back, featuring its music note layered on top of a CD.
