In my old versions of iMovie, I could import a youtube video that I downloaded through Safari from the "activity" box. I converted the .flv youtube video into a .mov quicktime movie and was able to drag it right into my old version of iMovie. However, with iMovie 09, I tried the same process, and it bounces the video out of iMovie and won't let me import it. I am a music teacher and use these videos to let my kids create their own soundtrack with Garageband, but haven't been able to assign it yet this year. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm relatively new with Mac's, so I've still got lots to learn!
