MICROSOFT WORD 2004 1. Open the "WordMac2004" folder using Finder. 2. Expand "Med2012Mac04.zip" using the "Archive Utility" to access your new custom dictionary "Med2012Mac04.dic." 3. Copy "Med2012Mac04.dic" to the "Microsoft" folder in your account. 4. Open a Microsoft Word document. 5. Select "Word" then "Preferences." 6. In "Preferences", select "Spelling & Grammar." Verify that your new speller is working. Key in some test words. Medical speller key in: abrachia, Celebrex, and sternocleidomastoid. If your new speller is working it will pass those words as being correctly spelled. Legal speller key in: ab initio, judicata, legitimum, respondere. If your new speller is working it will pass those words as being correctly spelled. Sci & Tech speller key in: abrachia, Celebrex, and sternocleidomastoid. If your new speller is working it will pass those words as being correctly spelled. Combination speller key in: abrachia, Celebrex, and sternocleidomastoid. If your new speller is working it will pass those words as being correctly spelled. 14. Done!
