If you're doing anything Flash-enabled like Youtube, Hulu, etc., then you will see a drastic cut in battery life. By more than half in most cases. When Apple claims a "10-hour battery life", they get those results by doing 'light' (not constantly opening and closing tabs) web browsing, excluding Flash, and running the screen a bit below the half-way mark for brightness. I generally get 5-6 hours of battery life on my Mid-2009 MBP (with Flash completely blocked), and I'm content. Hope this helps ya 🙂 May 4, 2010 7:43 PM in response to Spjen I have the same problem. 2025-03-26Is the fact that it does not deal with plugin resources. Surprising considering plugins are a huge part of MV. Any work being done to rectify this situation? (1 is much more important though).bonus: Just curious, is it true, the rumors that MV is trying to move away from PIXI? Thanks! I look forward to more updates and support, keep up the good work. #11 I wish you guys would read the Bug Reports/Suggestions first before asking about Mobile #12 I looked through it... didn't see any reference to a mobile porting process. A link would be nice so that people could follow if they are hoping that this update would fix this huge oversight. #14 Ah, I did see that. Somewhere it should mention "this is the answer for the mobile porting process" so you can imagine why I didn't view this as the mobile answer.Even in light of this information I do have a couple questions:1) I already have a browser version that works well, of course it only works on PC and MAC. So I imagine this is the mobile browser answer (runs like crap on mobile)? 2) How will this eventually translate to a mobile port that I can package and deliver to the Apple Play Store Or Google Play Store to potentially sell to over 2 billion smart phones in the world? (I want a mobile APK to install locally, bypassing the need to play on a browser, especially for mobile.) #15 Ah, I did see that.
