How do I unistall the Microsoft Edge Update

Hello! Do you have a question about Windows Server or Windows Client for IT Pros? So if you have the old edge, you can go to Settings > Apps > Microsoft Edge and click Uninstall. If you have the update from Windows with the new Edge, then it currently does not support removal, specifically:"The new Microsoft Edge does not support the removal of this update."from this page here.EDIT: But you can go to Settings > Apps > Microsoft Edge and uninstall the new version and it will revert to the old Edge. Looks like the update will not be removed, but wanted to point out that I was incorrect of my initial assessment according to some marked answers here. It's not an excuse, there is currently no offical path for Edge removal from the OS, sorry. If you would like to provide feedback for an option to do so, I'd recommend youreview the page here on the Feedback Hub in Windows 10. You might find someone in there who also would like to uninstall Edge and you can support each others feedback! So, uh, yeah, I am wearing a mask in the event you do "throw it back in [my] face", so no worries! : )Have fun! Fortunate position that I can financially hurt Microsoft by banning their products in the company I work for across Asia Pacific. If Microsoft were less forceful and allowed the deletion of unwanted products, I wouldn't be so against them. 5 people found this reply helpful · Was this reply helpful? Sorry this didn't help. How do I remove Microsoft Edge, and it's companion Update app.I don't want excuses, I don't want "It's a core app" because that's B.S., it's a web browser and I don't want it.I could do it with Internet Explorer, I want to do it with Microsoft Edge and it's little Updater friend. You give me any long winded speech or any 5h17, I will throw it back in your face. Now get this P.O.S. off MY computer.Oh Grasshopper,Don't you realize that 'ms' is so all knowing about every aspect of our pipsqueek lives?Resistance is futile.Well the solution to this problem seems to be obvious to me. I have not been using the old edge, andI think I can manage by not using the new edge.So long as I don't mind, edge doesn't matter - and neither does MicroSnobft. The problem lies in the fact that so many toss their own personal preferences, and power, over the cyber fence, and then cry over the consequences instead of standing firm, and simply NOT using the stuff. 2 people found this reply helpful · Was this reply helpful? Read more The Facebook app returned in the Microsoft Store after a year after it was removed by its owner last year. The new app is still in its Beta testing version and it’s now in a form of a PWA (Progressive Web App) and it looks totally different, but it’s still nothing stunning about it.And that’s because it looks almost like you would open Facebook in a regular web browser. How can I use the new Facebook app in Windows 10?The new PWA requires you to have the latest version of Microsoft Edge installed on your PC.The reason behind that is that according to Aggiornamenti Lumia, the PWA uses the Microsoft Edge Chromium installation of the Facebook website. In the same way, if you go to the Facebook website by using the latest Microsoft Edge version and try to install it as an app, you will be redirected to open the Facebook app. What are the requirements and how to install the new Facebook app?So, in order to use the new Facebook (Beta) app, you need to have the Windows 10 version 19003 or later installed on your PC and the latest version of Edge.To make sure you have the latest Windows updates head over to Update & Security from Settings and hit the Check for updates button. To update Edge, you just need to click the three horizontal dots from the top right corner, select the Help and feedback option and click on About Microsoft Edge. The latest update will download and install automatically. Now, all you need to do is to look for Facebook in the Microsoft Store,
