His question is “when he is typing an email, instead of clicking in between a letter, it highlights the letter: Any ideas as to why this is happening? This is not a problem only to him. I think Thousands of users facing the same issue including me, Yes me too. 1. This is not an issue with your OS. 2. This is not an issue with Gmail. The Solution? Its the Insert key on your keyboard, not Gmail, press it once, NOTE number lock may have to be turned off first depending on your keyboard type. If the problem still persists, just detach and attach your keyboard. If you are using Wireless mouse, turn that off and on again.
