Halo is the PA implementation you're talking about. Very different. I tested on my Galaxy Nexus (Maguro, GSM) plenty ROMs on several android versions. I always came back to CyanogenMod, which I think, it is the most reliable one. Recently I tested PA incl. their new function Halo and now my device is running AOKP. PA or AOKP never stopped or had an emergency shutdown or so. AOKP has now and also in releases before some functions or features, which are not working on my device (eg disable charging LED). But there is nothing important to me.But back to S3 LTE (GT-I9305):I heard, that Avatar and LiquidSmooth should be sexy as well, as the other AOSP ROMs. The others I honestly don't know. But you will have to find out by your own. Best thing is, take a weekend and test all of them and decide.Don't forget to thank those developers, who spend a lot of time for their ROMs/kernels and other stuff for the S3 LTE. We can be happy that we finally got this phone running AOSP ROMs as well as Samsung stock
