Granny in Paradise adalah game yang mengisahkan petualangan seorang nenek super dalam menyelamatkan kucing-kucing peliharaannya yang diculik oleh Dr. Meow.Dalam aksi heoriknya tersebut, si nenek harus memanjat tangga yang tinggi, melompat kesana kemari, menggali lubang, dan bertarung dengan anak buah musuh.Biarpun sudah tua, sang nenek jagoan mampu menjelajahi 5 dunia yang terbagi menjadi 170 level. Bermain-main dengan bom pun bukan masalah bagi dirinya. Berhadapan dengan anjing buas juga tidak membuatnya gentar.Lika-Liku Permainan Granny in ParadiseGranny in Paradise diwarnai dengan aksi lompat sang nenek dari satu tempat ke tempat lain demi menyelamatkan kucing-kucingnya yang tersebar di beberapa lokasi.Tak jarang ia harus melompat dari tempat yang tinggi, tetapi tak menjadi masalah bagi dirinya karena kekuatan tulangnya melebihi manusia normal.Hanya saja, untuk melompat terjun ke tempat tertentu yang agak jauh, si nenek membutuhkan alat bantu seperti payung.Nenek juga harus bolak-balik naik turun tangga. Jika tak ada tangga untuk naik ke sebuah tempat, nenek bisa menyiram tanaman agar tumbuh merambat ke atas yang kemudian ia gunakan sebagai pengganti tangga.Lokasi kucing-kucingnya memang tidak selalu mudah dijangkau. Kadang, nenek harus menggali tanah. Sesekali ia juga terpaksa menggunakan bom untuk menghancurkan bebatuan yang menghalanginya. Singkat cerita, apa pun akan ia lakukan untuk menolong kucing-kucingnya.Setelah kucing-kucing yang dibebaskan di antar oleh nenek sampai ke gerbang Meow, selanjutnya akan muncul sebuah gerbang lain dalam bentuk bunga yang disebut “exit flower” yang akan membawa nenek ke level berikutnya.Dr. Meow yang jahat tentu tidak akan membiarkan nenek begitu saja. Anak buahnya yang disebut Tiki Man diperintahkan untuk memburu nenek. Untung saja, si nenek bisa lari lebih cepat daripada Tiki Man.Sepandai-pandainya tupai melompat, akhirnya jatuh juga. Situasi yang sama mungkin akan terjadi pada nenek ketika sedang dikejar oleh Tiki Man yang tidak mengenal kata ampun.Biarpun kecepatan larinya kalah sehingga nenek bisa kabur dengan mudah, Tiki Man tidak pernah menyerah karena tujuan hidupnya memang cuma satu: membuat si nenek terkapar. Pada akhirnya, karena sebab tertentu atau mungkin memang sudah takdirnya, si nenek bisa saja terperangkap dan tak bisa kabur lagi.Meskipun demikian, nenek punya cara jitu untuk menghadapi situasi seperti itu. Dengan sekop yang selalu dibawanya, ia bisa menggali lubang perangkap, dan Tiki Man yang tidak pernah belajar dari kesalahannya akan selalu jatuh ke lubang tersebut.Sesekali nenek juga menggunakan dompetnya untuk menghadapi musuh. Kegemarannya berkebun pun memungkinkan nenek untuk menumbuhkan Killer Tomatoes, sebuah bunga ajaib yang ganas dan tak ragu-ragu menerkam musuh, tetapi tidak pernah menyakiti dirinya.
