Basically AppLocker is an application that allows whitelisting the execution within certain paths for certain users/user groups. When AppLocker is configured to only allow the execution of applications within certain paths the Electron application displays the error Cannot load library node.dllin a dialog box (even though the path where the Electron application is stored is on the whitelist). When the user presses "Ok" the application is terminated. As far as I understand, Enigma Virtual Box presents all the packaged files as "virtual files" to the application and doesn't unpack the files into the file system. So my assumption is that AppLocker blocks the application from loading the packed DLLs from the location where they are presented to the application (because this location is not on the AppLocker whitelist).Has anybody else faced this or similar problems? Does anybody know under which paths Enigma Virtual Box presents the packaged files to the application?Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advanceRemo Enigma Site Admin Posts: 3035 Joined: Wed Aug 20, 2008 2:24 pm Re: Enigma Virtual Box and AppLocker Problem Post by Enigma » Wed Jan 16, 2019 9:51 am Hi Remo,Enigma Virtual Box does not extract files on the disk, it does the virtualization in memory only, thus it is very strange that such error appear there. Probably, AppLocker works as intermediate level between application and protection and does not allow application's call to reach the protection...As an idea, could you try to enable running from TEMP folder? #1 I recently submitted a game to a game jam, and I used Enigma Virtual Box to make this game into one executable file. However, a few times people have told me that they were unable to load saves they'd made. They were able to create saves just fine, but attempting to load saves either didn't work (errors or crashing) or caused event interactions to not work (one of my testers reported that they successfully got a save to load, but some events' graphics didn't render while their collisions still did, and they weren't able to do anything to or with these events. They also said the game crashed shortly after this).I followed the instructions I've seen for using Enigma Virtual Box (deploy game, box with Enigma, add a www/save folder into the same folder as the .exe file, and then zip up that overarching folder).Did something change with how MV works? Am I missing a step without realizing? If neither of those are the case, is there an alternative to using Enigma Virtual Box (or a way to get it to no longer have these bugs related to loading saves)? #2 You followed the steps correctly. I think this has something to do with your plugins. Perhaps the game is wanting to load those graphics but can't find the directory since everything's compact now and causing a crash. I used enigma virtual box just recently and had no issues with it. #3 create a folder and put hte exe inside, create a new folder where the exe is andcall it www and inside that folder a folder named save.than it work correctly.either you premade them or they make them doesn't matter as long the wwwfolder exist outside the exe. #4 @Hyouryuu-Na Maybe, but then why did the Enigma boxed version work perfectly fine on my end? Wouldn't it have failed on my end as well if that were the problem? create a folder and put hte exe inside, create a new folder where the exe is andcall it www and inside that folder a folder named save. Yes, I did do that. As I said in my OP, that is what I did. #5 True. Maybe you should try moving it somewhere else and play it? Your players can keep the file anywhere so maybe that's an issue? I don't know. Are you using it to protect your assets? I want to use it for my current project but it will prevent me from making automatic updates and dlcs. But that's pretty much the same for all single file executables. #6 I do move it elsewhere, just to test that the executable works before I upload it to somewhere it can I'm trying to use Enigma x64 to protect a 64-bit Photoshop plug-in I'm developing. However it doesn't seem to work, even if I protect the DLL with *ALL* protection options disabled (no registration, no check-ups, no virtual box, no markers in code) still the following happens:- When I start Photoshop CS5 64-bit, it scans for plug-ins, when opening my plug-in the Enigma splash screen shows up, after the countdown I click to close the splash screen, then Photoshop crashes. - When I use the original (unprotected) DLL, everything works fine. I also tried putting the unprotected DLL in Photoshop's dir first, then start it, and once I'm in Photoshop, I replace the plug-in DLL with the protected one (this is possible, apparently Photoshop doesn't keep all plug-in DLLs open all the time). Then I call the plug-in: now the Enigma splash screens appears but it freezes immediately, it doesn't even count down (stuck at '5'). As far as I know I'm not doing any freaky things in my DLL. Any idea? I don't know if you have access to a Photoshop CS5 64-bit version, would it help if I email you the unprotected DLL?Enigma Virtual Box 2.00 - Enigma Protector
II: 3D Hot Rally and Highway Star (Rad Racer outside of Japan).Following the release of the Virtual Boy, Nintendo experimented with 3D for the Nintendo GameCube, with longtime Nintendo employee Hideki Konno saying that Luigi's Mansion in particular looked excellent. This idea was scrapped as the add-on would have been more expensive than the console itself. In June 2010, Nintendo revealed the Nintendo 3DS, a system that supported 3D graphics without the need for glasses. When we say "protection" we mean realization of two major ideas. First one is integration of "try before you buy" conception support system into the program module. Second one is protection of machine code of program module from analysis and cracking. As can be seen, the protection is realized in different, but nevertheless greatly interrelated aspects, which are protection of developer economic interests and technical protection of the program product. What does The Enigma Protector can? The Enigma Protector has advanced scheme of registration keys generation: Comfortable interface for creating and verifying of registration keys.
