I also want to know which Linux system it supports, and how?my OS is Fedora 9 and 10..Thank you very much. The Linux driver is supplied by National Instruments and must be downloaded from their site. The link is and it is only supported on Mandriva, RedHat and SUSE. That is not to say it will not work on others but you will need a good knowedge of Linux. We have purchased the Linux Labview development software and have succeeded in installing the NI-Visa drivers on different distros and machines and hope to have a version available for beta release 2nd quarter 2009.One user is running the Cleverscope app on a VMWare virtual machine with XP, on a Linux host, without problems.Regards,Roger Carter [editor:html] Any progress on the Linux support ? My PC is running Gentoo 64 bits, is there any chance that the NI driver will work on this platform ? SpeedEBikes10 Mar 2010 Posts: I haven't tried the NI Linux driver, but have had no trouble running my Cleverscope in a stripped down WinXP image run under Sun VirtualBox. I'm running a fairly vanilla Ubuntu Karmic release and using the VirtualBox package maintained in the Ubuntu repository. Very simple to install and set up. I'm running this on a 4 year old budget laptop and performance has been excellent. Even with very big frame sizes I get responsive updates. For interest, we have an implementation using libUSB up and running under openSuse. We will release this when we have figured out how to make it easy to install. NI Visa is not used. Because libUSB is a user level package, no kernel recompile is necessary, and the implementation is Linux flavour independant. Join us for more discussions on Error 1026 LabView 2012 on our Driver Questions forum. Hi, I'm new into Cleverscope and I'm trying to integrate the hardware into a VI, but I have a problem. I have installed the Cleverscope software and I have the Cscope Control LV2012 V2.6 driver. I plug the hardware and I try an acquisition with the Minimum Scope.vi. Then I got the following error: Error 1026 occurred at Close Reference in cscope run vi.vi->Cscope control driver.vi->Minimum scope.viCan you give me a hand with this? Thanks for your Help! Hello Guille,I'm guessing here, but it looks like the control driver reference is not correct. The usual reason for this is that you are using the Control Driver with a different version of Labview than we built it in. We built it in Labview 2012. If you are using Labview 2012 SP1, you will need to rebuild it. To do this open the vi 'Cscope vi container.vi' from the Cscope Control Driver.llb, and then do a 'Save All'.The Save All will recompile all the sub VI's and save them back. Please let me know how you go. Thank you! I've just tried that and it works perfectly now!I'm having the same problem with the hierarchy trying to save some projects but I think I'll solve it.Thanks for helping me! Hi AllWe are Cleversccope virgins and just learning but we cannot get a SIGGEN square wave for love nor money... sine, triangle no problems... square just gives us DC at the set high level. What are we doing wrong? Many RegardsTony Hi, The CS701 does not make square or triangle (because there is a fault in the chip design, not documented in the data sheet). The CS700A does make square and triangle. At some stage, when we find the time we will implement AWG, and make it do square and triangle. The CS701 description says 'Isolated Signal Generator (0-65MHz, Sine Wave Only)'. Filiault10 Aug 2018 Posts: I've noticed the same issue as Tony. Do you have an ETA on when this might be implemented by any chance? I'm just curious. The CS448 sig gen now does square wave including duty cycle. We will implement a version of this on the CS701.
