This is truly outstanding software! It is clearly like the real thing. If a flight sim can get your adrenalin going, it must be real. ... I have owned Clearview for just over a week along with the cheap Esky TX sim. I have flown the Trex on Clearview for an hour a night over the last week. Nearly all was nose-in and the remainder was trying to improve my turns (I have a habit of climbing through right-hand turns). Last weekend, I went out to the park (over the fence) and withing 10 minutes had done my first 3 nose-in landings. GOOD landings. Clearview was the best$40 I have spent in ages. The bonus is now the family are trying to fly...... I own AFPD, Reflex, Phoenix, (had G3) and some others. I am amazed that ClearView performs at least as good as those expensive ones... The sceneries are even better. I've already went through some of the links, and this simulator is a great addition! I've gave a link to a heli friend, tried the trial version, and he's extremely surprised as well. This is definitely my number one simulator to start, because the whole environment appeals to me just right......I bought ClearView a couple of weeks back and haven't really been able to put it to the test as my USB cable only arrived yesterday. Well, after a few hours flying fixed wing and heli's I can say this: - ClearView delivers. It is an excellent tool and does equally as well as what all those high end expensive programs do......I use the PIC serial cable for my stock HB-CP2 ccpm Tx and ClearView from here. They also have a new PIC cable for the BladeCP ccpm Tx as the pinouts for the BladeCP and HB-CP2 are slightly different. Both of these cables filter out the Tx mixing as described here. The idle-up function works great mapping the on-off to the F1 and F2 keys on your PC keyboard, it does NOT work using the Tx switch (leave in normal mode). My setup works flawlessly with ClearView using 9600 baud on the serial port, 19200 does NOT work at all.....IMO at 30 bones for

I don't have any particular need to by a sim that is chock full of planes that I don't want to fly, so thought the SE version with the 'buy only the planes you need' approach was a terrific idea, but I guess it didn't work out.I was trying to find the plane download site for SE, but I guess this is why I couldn't find it. The full version of Clearview is only about 40$ About a quarter the price of the next step up to the expensive sims. It is well worth the money. When you use a sim very often the "same" model you want to train on flies nowhere near the real thing. So having a good assortment is a good thing. My 2cents I am sorry this monetary model of selling the Sim did not work out for Stefan. I was quite happy to recommend this for try by others and I still have my copy on my computer. Each, this is by far the best $60 sim setup on the planet...... The weather in the UK is pretty crappy at the moment - wet and windy - so to pass the time, I've been using an RC Flight sim to keep my thumbs oiled. With most sims costing around $150 - 200, I was very pleasantly suprised when I found this link.... ... If your just getting into this hobby then Clearview is a godsend since it doesn't require you to spend money on a Computer TX just yet. ClearView will allow you to practice flying with a USB Gamepad, this is almost identical to a Tx (it has two joysticks like a Tx) and only cost around $20. With the cost of the simulator at $30, you can be practicing on the computer for $50. Compair that to $200 for hi-end sim, and $200 for middle of the road Computer TX and you'll see the price difference!... The dev team has done a great service to people who fly Blade CP/CX (& dozens of other models)... I probably have $1000 in my Shogun, & can fly it without crashing at least, but people with $200 birds deserve a decent sim at a killer price.... Thanks so much for pointing out this sim and model of the Blade CP to me. I've just bought it & simply can not put it down, it's great. The Blade CP model is great; altho I do change cyclic gain from 40% to 20% under Easy Model Setup, almost dead on like my real model, terrific!... I need to figure out how to HH lock the tail like the Trex model, as that's what I have on mine. I set 25% dynamic zoom and it's great. I can fly no better in the sim than I can in real life, very nice! I can forward circle and side-roll. Only sim I'll use now... ... I can't wait to digi-pic my backyard for a custom panorama with collision objects. And skin the blade to a HBee CP2 maybe, heck it's so nice I'll probably leave it. The XRB Lama flies great too, definately needs to be made into a CX simply because the CX looks so much better. ..... It was OK, the graphics weren't that great. I saw RC Desk Pilot online while I was searching for a better free software that I could use with my existing 6 channel R/C USB controller (see the modification HERE: I downloaded RC Desk Pilot - FREE - and it's awesome. The graphics are much better than FMS, and there are even competitions that will keep you busy on rainy days. Although it does not have a large helicopter selection, there are still two models. It was made more for R/C planes, and it's awesome! You can fully program the channels for the models, and you can even download new models from the Internet, just like how FMS can! Right when I was starting to get the hang of using RC Desk Pilot, a new, updated version came out called BMI Flight Simulator. There are many more different models in that version, and there is the addition of a lake in the scenery.RC Desk Pilot and BMI Flight Simulator are the same scenery wise (other than the addition of the lake in the BMI version), and have lots of models. You can even move all of your RC Desk Pilot models to the BMI's folder on your hard drive so that you can have all the models that
