December 2, 2010, 12:03am 1 Hi AgainI wrote a few days back with the same problem but figured a fresh post might result in some new ideas. Never had issues prior to downloading avast but now I get the blue screen almost everytime i go to my email. It is very frustrating. I did remove norton using the tools that were recommended and nothing has changed. When I did a search on my computer it appears that all norton/symantec is gone. Does anyone know a way to fix this or if there is a number to contact avast in hopes of getting a refund? Thanks Lisandro December 2, 2010, 12:29am 2 sales (at) avast (dot) com system December 2, 2010, 5:55am 3 Thank you for the sharing of your information… system December 2, 2010, 6:57am 4 @ surfin,This was your original thread: that we suggested the Symantec/Norton uninstall, which obviously did not work for you.Did you have another antivirus (AV), firewall, other security software, or trial security software on this machine currently or in the past? LCD devices display images by dividing the display screen into thousands (or millions) of pixels, arranged in rows and columns. The pixels are placed close together so that they appear connected. A full pixel is a combination of one red, one green, and one blue subpixel. Back to top What are pixel and subpixel defects? A full-pixel defect is a bright white dot or a noticeable black dot on the display. A bright pixel defect is where the red, green, and blue subpixels are all permanently on. It is always visible as a white dot on the display. Dark pixel defect is where the red, green, and blue subpixels are all permanently off. It is always visible as a black dot on the display.
