However, there are newer versions of PowerChute Business Edition, and for 64 bit systems, for example v10.0.2 64-bit (SFPCBE1002). Is there some reason that the support search is returning only the v9.5 32-bit SFPCBE95 version?Whatever version of PowerChute, the management interface must be running on the UPS-connected workstation itself. It cannot be just an agent with no management interface. Older versions of PowerChute Business Edition had a console interface that enabled a stand-alone workstation to manage the UPS. I don't know if the current version of PowerChute Business Edition has that capability anymore. If you follow the Network UPS Tools (not supported by APC ) hyperterminal access procedures (as you would have done to change the battery constant to the correct value) , typing an " ^A" (ctrl-A I believe ) in smart mode (IE the "SM" prompt) should tell you what the model ID string is and typing a "B" gets you battery voltage gain (which is adjustable by + / - keys to take it up / down in steps of approx 0.10 Volts per step, similar method to changing the battery constant. For example "E9" is the correct value for an SUA1500 ). Lastly, entering a "g" gets you the nominal battery voltage.Good luck fixing this! Link copied.
