I reinstalled FFMPEG and reinstalled NextPVR, which resulted to a fresh install of NextPVR. Now my VOD playlist doesn't load as it used to. To answer your question, yes, I use my IPTV provider's app for my IPTV service given that their app is designed specifically for their service. I need NextPVR, so I set up a Linux server, paid for a domain name for the NextPVR server services. However, I had already purchased plex server services before I found NextPVR. So, if plex had provided everything I needed I needed including IPTV integration, I would not have needed NextPVR. We're here now, I would appreciate any help you can provide to resolve this issue. Previously, all recordings were fine, until I updated NextPVR to the latest version. If you are using NextPVR v5 or later, the instructions for setting up an HDHomeRun will be different. Download and install the latest HDHomeRun software from downloads. Open HDHomeRun Setup. On the Tuners tab, select the correct signal source for your tuners. On the tab corresponding to your signal, click Scan. Click OK. Open NextPVR. Right click on the NextPVR window and select Settings. Click on Devices on the left side. Click on the QAM/ATSC/DVB-T/DVB-C Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner xxxxxxxx-0 entry appropriate for your signal source and then click Device Setup. Do not use the HDHR entry. For DVB-T/DVB-C, select the correct country and region, or All Frequencies. For ATSC, select All Channels. Looking up artwork for a show is an expensive activity (time wise), and NextPVR only does it when it absolutely needs to, like when the user click on a show in the TV Guide, or records a show etc.. Generally the most popular and oft-recommended. The NextPVR add-on comes with Kodi, so you don’t need to install anything else (though depending on your setup, you may need to install some extra codecs during the process below). How to Install and Set Up NextPVR Head to the NextPVR home page and download the latest version. Double-click the resulting EXE file to install NextPVR, just like you would any other Windows program. Start up NextPVR. You’ll be greeted with the settings window. (If you aren’t, right-click on the NextPVR window and choose “Settings”. In the left sidebar, click “Devices”. Your TV tuner should show up in the list, possibly multiple times. For example, our Hauppauge WinTV tuner shows up twice: Once as an ATSC tuner (for broadcast antennas) and once for QAM (cable). Select the one you want to use–I’m using an antenna, so I’ll choose ATSC in my case–and click “Device Setup”. Click the “Scan” button to scan for available channels. This will take a few minutes. When it’s finished, the bar at the top will say “Scan Complete”, and you’ll have a list of all the channels available to you. Click OK. On the Digital Recorder Settings screen, click OK. If you’re using Windows 7, change as many of these dropdowns as you can to “Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder”. Most TV tuners should work with that setup. If you’re using Windows 8 or Windows 10, the Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder will not be available for most of these options, particularly MPEG2 (which many TV tuners use). Click the dropdown to see if you have any decoders available to you–you may already have some installed from other applications on your system. When I edit an m3u channel listing to remove unwanted channels in NPVR, is there a way I can move that listing to Emby Live TV? I get an xml file when exporting from NPVR but I don't know how to get that into Live TV. I switched to Beast iptv a short time ago and it has a ton of channels I have no interest in. I've set up NextPVR on my Linux box and I need to punch some holes in the firewall for it. The obvious port to open was tcp port 8866 (as I wish to access/control NextPVR from other machines on the network). After a bit of experimenting and googling, I also found out that udp port 16891 was needed for the Android/IOS app for NextPVR discovery. Indeed, running 'sudo ss -tulpn' lists all the listening ports on my machine, from which I notice that the NextPVR process is also listening on udp port 1901.
