The following is an overview of the steps required to configure the EZOfficeInventory Web application for single sign-on (SSO) via SAML. EZOfficeInventory offers both IdP-initiated SAML SSO (for SSO access through the user portal or CyberArk applications) and SP-initiated SAML SSO (for SSO access directly through the EZOfficeInventory web application). You can configure EZOfficeInventory for either or both types of SSO. Prepare EZOfficeInventory for single sign-on (see EZOfficeInventory requirements for SSO). In the Identity Administration portal, add the application and configure application settings. Once the application settings are configured, complete the user account mapping and assign the application to one or more roles. For details, see Configure EZOfficeInventory in the Identity Administration portal. Configure the EZOfficeInventory application for single sign-on. You will need to copy some settings from Application Settings in the Identity Administration portal and paste them into fields on the EZOfficeInventory website. For details, see Configure EZOfficeInventory on its web site. After you are done configuring the application settings in the Identity Administration portal and the EZOfficeInventory application, users are ready to launch the application from the Identity User Portal. Before you configure the EZOfficeInventory web application for SSO, you need the following: An active EZOfficeInventory instance for your organization. A signed certificate. You can either download one from the Identity Administration portal or use your organization’s trusted certificate. Contact information for EZOfficeInventory support (to enable and test the SSO feature on your account). The EZOfficeInventory application expects specific attributes in the SAML assertion for each user: first_name emailAddress last_name The attributes email and last_name are mandatory for SAML SSO. Dynamic user provisioning also requires the first_name attribute. Make sure that the schema for your user repository formats user names using separate attributes for the first and last name.
