Applies to: Revu 21 Revu 20 Problem In Bluebeam Administrator, plugins are grayed and can't be selected. Causes In Revu 21, the use of plugins requires a Core subscription, a Complete subscription, or an active trial of Revu. In Revu 20, the use of plugins requires a license of Revu CAD, Revu eXtreme, or an active trial of Revu. Your plugins may be grayed out because: Your computer has applications that are compatible with Revu plugins, such as AutoCAD or Revit, but you have a Read-only or Basics accounr (Revu 21) or the registered license is Revu Standard (Revu 20). Your trial of Revu 21 or Revu 20 has expired. Solution Revu 21 Confirm which subscription plan you have access to: Open Revu 21. When prompted, sign in with your Bluebeam ID (BBID). Select your email address next to the Revu icon in the upper right corner to view your account information. If you have a Read-only or Basics account, reach out to your Org Admin (i.e., license owner and/or IT dept.) to request Core/Complete access. Org Admins can modify subscription access via the Bluebeam Subscription Management Portal. For Core or Complete subscribers experiencing this issue, please contact us. Applies to: Revu 21 Revu 20 Windows 11 Follow the steps below to set Revu as the default PDF viewer. Note that this process requires administrator rights on the computer. Open Revu. Go to Revu > Preferences (Ctrl+K). Select Admin from the left-hand menu. Under Default PDF viewer, select Open Default Programs. In the Default Apps window, select Bluebeam Revu under Set defaults for applications. Select the program currently assigned to .pdf, and then select Revu. Setting Revu as the default viewer also enables Bluebeam as the previewer used by Outlook and Windows Explorer. Windows 10, 8.1, and 7 SP1 Follow the steps below to set the Revu as the default PDF viewer. This process requires administrator rights on the computer. Open Revu. Click Revu > Preferences (Ctrl+K). Applies to: Revu 21 Revu 20 Problem The PDF isn't to scale when printing your drawing or document. Solution Check Revu, your printer, and the Bluebeam plugin to ensure your settings are correct. Turn Page Scaling off In Revu, select File > Print. In the Page Scaling dropdown, select None. Check for scale settings in the printer or plotter driver In the program you're printing from, open the Print window and select the Properties button to see the settings for the printer driver. Check the settings in your printer driver for a Scale or Shrink to Fit option. If Shrink to Fit is enabled, disable it so the printer will be full scale. The layout of printer drivers vary, so the setting may have a different name or might be located somewhere else in the driver dialog. Adjust Plot Scale when using the plugin for AutoCAD Revu 21 requires a Core or Complete subscription to use Bluebeam plugins. For Revu 20 and below, you must have a license that is CAD or eXtreme edition. In AutoCAD, go to the Output tab. In the Bluebeam section, select Change Settings. Go to the Page Setup tab. Select Custom or Global from the Page Setup list to enable these settings. Select the appropriate Paper Size. Under Plot Scale, select 1:1 from the Scale dropdown. If Native (AutoCAD) is selected in the Page Setup list, Bluebeam uses the settings from AutoCAD's Page Setup options.
